Recycle IT is a social enterprise that specialises in the management
of waste electrical equipment.
THE FOLLOWING IS AN OUTLINE OF THE DUTIES PERTAINING TO THE POSITION
* Manual handling of all waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE)
* Manual handling of non-WEEE as required from time to time
* Loading, unloading and sorting of WEEE
* Dismantling/treatment of IT
* Maintaining records in line with permit obligations and as
required by the company
* Assisting in collection services
* Assisting customers who choose to drop-off WEEE
* Driving duties, inc. forklift and van as appropriate
* General housekeeping
* And other duties that may arise from time to time as required by
management
REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to work as part of team
* Ability and willingness to record data as requested.
* Ability to read and understand a map and directions.
* Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
* Ability to drive van with a manual transmission.
* Ability to work in all weather conditions.
* Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to
communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external
customers.
* Van driving experience preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Legally eligible to work in Ireland.
* Must be at least **Apply on the website** years of age.
* Must have at least a valid clean B-class driving license.
* Must successfully complete pre-employment interview.
* Must be able to communicate, understand, and respond to questions
from customers.
